Shag Dance Exhibitions by members of the Roanoke Valley
Shag Club
We all know about shag dancing, but
on June 12 and Sept. 4 members of the
Roanoke Valley Shag Club will provide us with an exhibition
of the "real"
thing. It'll be great fun watching them show off their moves.
Now don't
get intimidated - these dancers have been dancing and practicing
for years.
And don't forget the idea of Party in the Park is to just

Art By Night Gallery Walk
Art By Night is a gallery walk held
on the first Thursday of each month from
5 to 8 PM. The participating galleries have openings, demonstrations, music,
or other related activities. They also provide refreshments. There is no charge
to enjoy and all are welcome.
BB&T and EventZone are pleased to
be able to support the many art galleries located in downtown
Roanoke and their "Art By Night Gallery Walk." At Party in
the Park, starting on opening night May 29, and then on other
nights, look for art displays at the park and as get information
on the popular "Art By Night Gallery Walk" program being
offered by these galleries on the first Thursday of every
month.

Free fun! Join downtown galleries and museums as they extend
their hours
until 8 pm.
Art by Night is a fun,
relaxing andstimulating opportunity to see what is happening
in the art scene in
Roanoke. A free limousine is available to transport visitors
from gallery to
